We are delighted that you decided to experience what God is doing at Encounter Church. We have a rich history of service to the East Bay community and a variety of small groups and activities for men, women, couples, young adults, youth and children. Encounter Church is a place where people can meet Jesus, engage in life-giving community and a place where everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with the Holy Spirit, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory. Join us for our Sunday services!  

Whether it's through music, prayer or preaching, God's Word is at the center of all of our gatherings. Each service includes energetic and passionate worship and prayer, preaching and testimonies. The sermons are built on God’s Word, addressing the needs of all, and aimed at transforming our lifestyles to mirror that of Jesus Christ. A typical service will last about two hours but we don't put a time limit on the Holy Spirit. Our worship team has the talent, love and passion for Jesus that shakes the foundations of our sanctuary. We offer childcare and activities for all age groups and a First Time Visitor's Reception is held each Sunday after service.
